Walk Across Your State

In an open space, create the outline of your state or county with a dotted line of KEVA planks. Fill in rivers, lakes, highways, major buildings, forests etc. Spacially transform your room. Students use maps to guide the work. They'll remember where the capital of the state is located in your state because they will need to determine where to build it by looking at a map. Sound like fun? Get amazing retention of Geography concepts.
