20 Challenges with 20 Planks

Make time at your desk interactive and fun!

Dividing up class materials can be difficult and limited, but it doesn't have to be with KEVA Planks. Here are 20 challenges that students can do at their desk with 20 planks or less:


  1. Design some furniture.
  2. Design a tree, leaf, flower, or something from nature.
  3. Create a symmetrical design.
  4. Build the tallest tower you can.
  5. Make the widest structure you can.
  6. Create a design with triangles.
  7. Create a design with squares.
  8. Build a spiral as tall as you can.
  9. Create addition and subtraction problems using the planks as counters.
  10. Create a parallel design.
  11. Make a rhombus.
  12. Build something that represents you.
  13. Design an animal.
  14. Design a building.
  15. Create roads.
  16. Make a design with at least one planks on its end, on its side, flat, and on an angle.
  17. Design a maze.
  18. Use verbal directions to build a specific structure.
  19. Have one student build something and everyone else tries to build a replica.
  20. Build something with three planks on the table or floor.
